Inspire

He was my light, he was my soul

He stole my heart, as well as my show.

He took the words right from my mouth,

and from here on things went South.

Bit by bit everything was gone.

Slowly, but surely he played me like a pawn.

I sat there while he pondered on his next move,

but I never thought that I would have to prove.

Prove to him that I was worthy to win the game,

be someone deserving of his fame.

But alas my time has come,

and I am sure that he is done.

Done with my frantic games,

because he continuously blames,

me for the reason he has no one to conspire,

in order for him to inspire.

Someone other than a useless, no good, nobody like me.
