INSPIRE POEM

Through the course of my life, I’ve found that I love

Bars set up high, just inches above. 

The beautiful feeling, of pushing myself

Helps me break all my limits. I seek for deep wealth

The wealth that is knowledge and finding your purpose

From a professor at Harvard to a clown in the circus.

There’s a part of my soul that cries out for a challenge

Like dancing to hip hop with reckless abandon

Or painting for hours, watching beauty grow fuller

Like a gorgeous, bright city, bursting with color

Or it could be a room full of chemistry majors

Their drive far too high to take part in peer ragers

I find inspiration in the enactment of talent

Pursuing your passion will always be valiant

I find inspiration in this driven generation

You’ll see it too, if you just pay attention
