Inspired By

Brittle fingers against the gentle keys

Writing lyrics and plucking steel strings

Emotions flow like a stream

Crunching leaves against shoe soles

Suitcase wheels against cold floors

Beats, harmonies, bass, and soul

My heart poured out, traveling to someone else's ears

Music absorbs my passion, frustration, and fears

Inspired by the surrounding sounds and sights

Music gives my memories and experiences new life
