Inspired By Being Used

For I saw the world bleeding,

I never thought of fleeing,

Compassion's what they're needing.

I may have wasted my gas,

They called me a pure jackass,

But he couldn't miss his class.

I may have spent my money,

They all thought it was funny,

But she shouldn't go hungry.

I may have lost my own mind,

They said it's not worth the time,

But I guess they've all gone blind.

At times I felt like dying,

For others, I kept trying.

Helping you, stopped my crying.
