Inspired by "Matched" by Ally Condie
"Do not go Gentle into that Good Night
Rage, Rage against the dying of the Light
Lift your eyes and heart, and Fight
Find your Fire, burn it bright"
Green, blue, red
Grass, sky, blood
Green eyes, blue eyes, red…
We tied our knots in the water
And the rain turned from blue to black
Because it’s easier to bleed then to cry
Or so they say, and yet
When the rain falls
I remember
That they fell
They lay
They stilled
I saw
And I ran
There had been too much of leaving
But as we tied our cloths on the hill
They turned out tears from blue to red
Because its easier to forget than to remember
Its easier to still than to stay
Its easier to pass, to leave, than to fight
And I did not go gentle into that good night
I raged, fought, against the dying of the light
Green, blue, red
Grass, sky, blood
They say no more were dead, but
Bodies still in the mud
And the boy with the paintbrush runs
