Inspired Sleep

A rhythm is heard, Quiet Like the rolling waves Of the ocean. The shutters are closed Tight- Not even a thread Of light is seen. No movement is felt, Still Like marble statues Frozen in Rome. Lungs full of musky Air- A twinge of sweetness From lavender. Golden locks glitter Soft Like stars of the night Glow in the dark. My only darling Dream Of the worlds unseen By human minds.
