The Insufferable Child

The Insufferable Child

No one wants to play her games

For she is an insufferable child

She is the one who is always blamed

For she is an insufferable child

Because to them,

All she does

Is tell them lies

And broken ties

Between a family, one

Now in two

With her, they’re through,

For she is an insufferable child

Now the days are long and gone

When someone kisses her in the dawn

And no on holds her when she cries

Because no one’s forgiven her for her lies

Even though she’s repented

Even though she’s tried

No one tells her what she’s done so wrong

But she understands she no longer belongs

For she is an Insufferable child

No one wants to hold her tight

No one cares when she cries at night

No one worries that she might-

For she is The Insufferable Child

No one wants

Her.
