Insurgent

You make me forget I'm sad.

The way you hold me,
Your eyes know exactly what
I've been through.

Yet you're still here.
You don't get scared.
You don't run away.
You stay.

You stay and help me
Fight my demons,
Because you know
You know exactly
What I'm going through.

No one's made me forget her.
But you do.
I don't miss her.
I don't even think of her when
I'm with you.

And I don't care,
That you break all my rules,
Because you make me happy.
And that's all that matters.
