Intangibly Uknownable
Dear Darkness,
Darkness is vast and opaque.
We remain unable to view you in the light.
What dwells within your opaqueness?
A mystery that is unobtainable by our limitations.
Darkness is the doubt and unknown made visual.
But I do not fear the shadows,
I fear what they hold.
Darkness is seeable.
That which is inside it is the unseeable.
I fear the inability to gauge what the black hides,
Darkness is harmless.
You are just a vessel
Enfolding over Others.
You are a sheet
Used by malice to conceal itself.
Malice is deceit and danger and death made tangible.
Visualality is harmless,
But tangibility is harmful.
Darkness is visual, but intangible.
Malice is tangible, but sightless.
Sightlessness is the unknowable.
I do not fear darkness,
I fear what it prevents me from knowing.
I fear unknowability.
Sincerely, Light
