"Intentionally Vague"

It’s the smiles you send in the dark.

I know the patterns of your breathing to know it is you.

It’s the warmth you radiate in the middle of winter.

You gave me fair warning. “Don’t come any closer”

And the song you sing is a familiar one.

It reads like magic.

Looks like water lilies

It understands.

I am your paradox.

but you don’t hide.

I am your enemy.

but you don’t fight.

I am curious.

but you don’t stop me.

As your song screams in our presence.

We become the magic that it held.
