The Interaction

I walk slowly as my fear chokes me to death.

As I open the door I take a deep breath.

In the bathroom, my cousin was smoking.

He is constantly choking.

Choking from the nicotine poison that he puts into his body.

Toilet seat down sitting on the potty.

I assumed his mother didn't know

Because he was quiet and secretive, in my face he would blow.

I move back as it hit my face.

Choking and choking, making my heart race.

I have breathing problems that run around hidden.

He told me to smoke it and I asked him if he was kidding.

He tried to force me to do it but his mother called.

I ran to her as my heart crawled

To bust out of my chest

'Cause my heart knows best.
