We commonly judge by who’s black and who’s white;
But we refuse to see how much this causes humans to spiral into a horrid plight.
When will we finally see the difference between wrong and right?
And that we should never judge based on what is seen through sight.

There are hate crimes that take place every day;
Countless murders, kidnappings, and beatings in every which way.
Yet, when someone comes to us for help, we do nothing but push them away;
How long will it take before we see the countless loss of Vitamin K?

The truth is, we are losing lives;
Men and women are losing their husbands and wives.
And the people we rely on to save us, are nothing but bigoted dives.
Can’t you hear the screaming voices, praying that help soon arrives?

This is America, where we are suppose to be safe and free;
Yet, our very own country, is the reason we can’t be.
This subject isn’t no cup of tea;
It requires care, love, and attention immediately.

Next time you walk outside, make sure to look around;
Look around and see the murders, physical pain, and emotional beatdown.
Not even as a plan, but just as you drive around town;
And see that a perfect harmony is far from being found.

Maybe it’s time to stop judging based on skin;
And time to start realizing it all lies within.
We should continue to fight once we begin;
And not stop until we have achieved a true and genuine win.
