The Internet

They say the internet is killing our generation

However, in my opinion it is my inspiration

I can see the world within the click of a button

Travel anywhere in the world. Isn't that something?

I can meet new people, and share my stories

Whether they're exciting or boring.

Don't tell me to get off the internet

Because the people there are my saftey net.

They help me through my depression and make me feel wanted.

Even when everyone in reality makes me feel forgotten.

They accept me for me,

Not for what they want me to be.

The inernet is my backbone during my times of solitude.

I love it.
