I am a movie star

And I’m perfect for the job

I do what I’m told and I won’t tell a soul I promise

It doesn’t hurt that bad anymore

I am a movie star

More like a black hole of guilt and shame

To him it was a game he said we got to play

I’m a special little girl who gets to do big girl things

I am a world traveler

On a dark web server where hundreds of thousands of perverts

Watch him take off my ballet skirt and do want he wants

I am a world traveler

I will never truly know everywhere that I’ve been

Even standing here now I wonder if you have seen me then

And did you like it?

They say “you were just a kid it can’t be your fault,

don’t blame yourself he’s a sick bastard that’s all.”

No.

I would rather feel guilty than powerless

I used my barbie’s dress to wipe up the blood

I told you George this isn’t fun anymore

It never was

But I’m a movie star

And I’m perfect for the job

I am a special girl who doesn’t know right from wrong

I have traveled the world

At just six years old

I’ve been told that they think they aren’t hurting a soul

They didn’t touch me or rape me

Like I should be grateful for that

They just watched me and wondered if I enjoyed it a tad

I want you to know that it hurts just as bad

I want you to know you took all that I had

And to you George, I will never forgive what you did it’s not fair

I was too young to understand why you hurt me down there

But I am a grown women now and I just want to say

You made me the person who I am no longer today

You cannot hurt me anymore

And neither can they
