As I sit here in the cold rain,

Thinking about how I ended up here,

you probably think im a drug addict,

or was a person who just got out a jail,

but the truth is my name is Aaliyah,

my parents left me here and never came back

I am 6 years old,

I didnt do nothing wrong,

but the day before I ended up here,

my parents told me I was a disapointment

because the way I looked.
