The Interview
It approaches you
like silent footfall
The fear
Anxiety
Remember to breathe
Not knowing
if they’ll like you or not
You have to sell yourself
So chin up
That’s it
Come on, breathe
Question, answer
Question, answer
This endless game he plays
The panic sets in
Your body starts to shake!
Don’t worry
Just breathe
With sweaty palms
Your opponent gets stronger
You feel as though
he can see right through you
It’s okay, remember to breathe
He extends his hand
Congrats, you got the job
So relax
You’ve made it
Breathe
