Into The Horizon

My eyes gazed at the horizon, waiting for the sun to settle down, Staring at the amber sky where the clouds are sown, The light of the sun shining onto the thriving sea, The tide will rise along with the moon above me. The winds turned cold as the daylight folds, The shore beneath got flooded like a bleeding wound, The stars then emerged from the darkened sky, Along the moon that lights up my night. Comets flew by, soaring across the sky, The stars shined bright telling me to hold on tight, The tide fell back, revealing the sandy shore, This time I knew, the sun will rise once more.
