a fast moving train and no stop in sight
Filled with love and none to give
This time it's for myself to keep

And I remain, brush in hand, painting my picture
I have faith I'll make it out alive, thrive
I'll have to learn that there's no right answer
I think my perception's distorted by my surroundings of happy endings
Starting fresh, I'll confess
I was a bit naive before
In feelings of infectious defeat, I must remind myself
That if I can, I am
