The Intricacies of Jazz

I have never understood the intricacies of Jazz music. The mild intangibilities that define bop or discount cool. The tonal shifts that make New Orleans distinct, in contrast to New York I’ve only known that sweet, sweet feeling The one you can only say in French. Je suis amoreux The photographs of fine suits and eyes as dark as bourbon. No, I have never understood the intricacies of jazz music. Only the sublime Only the sublime indeed.
