An Intricate Plan

There once was a girl

Strong as heck

She was bound in captivity

Her life was a wreck

She thought to herself,

“What can I do?”

She wanted to escape,

But she had no clue

She planned her breakout,

An intricate plan

She began the mission,

She spoke to the mailman

“Sir, I need to use the restroom.

Will you untie my rope?”

“ I don’t know about that lady,

My answer is nope”

“But please sir!

I promise I will be quick”

“Alright I guess.

But don’t try anything slick”

He untied her rope,

She was finally free

The mailman was fooled,

She did not have to pee

She ran for the hills

Not once did she turn ‘round

She felt infinite

She was no longer bound

This girl was quick and strong

She knew what she had to do

But the best part about this girl?

She came to her own rescue.
