Introduction

Okay so , I have to do this on the spot, cool

My name is makeda

Please dont call me mackada

Its my major pet peeve

Some say I ahte it as much as some hate Al Queda

And they are not the same

Please dont be deceived

Its spelt differently

My name is not just some abstract ascription

Its my whole being perceived.

My mother scoured through scores and scores of books

While she yet conceived

The first  recorded makeda is found on Ethiopian leaves

Makeda, queen of sheba

Beholder of solomonic seeds

Cup, bowl, container , vessel woven of reeds

But my favorite of all of these

Mother of wisdom

So now that you have been

Given knowledge plese concede

I hold my name in high reverance

Please pronounce it in syllabic severance

Ma-ke-da

Its the only way I show any tolerance

So many correct ways to pronounce

The french they say it with sweet romance

Say it right and alas we may be friends perchance.
