Introductions

Hi my name is Megan. It's nice to meet you. I am really good at introductions. I can convince you that This can be real. I'll laugh at your jokes Tell you some generic story about my day And end making you feel like you really know me. But passed that first greeting You will begin to lose me. I will fade before you can even learn my middle name I will drift. Swept like a ball of dust behind your desk. I… fooled you. See there's something I forget to say when I first meet people. Hi my name is Megan. It's nice too meet you. Oh and by the way You will never get to know me. See I'll start to push you away after today. And yeah I'm not sure why, I just have this thing. I can't let you see me. I don't want to expose the weak inside because when I cry, I feel my heart begins to die. It kills to be vulnerable. It drives me insane to know that you know, more than I can even explain. That my feelings mean something more than just a lapse in stability. You know I'm a strong girl. I can fend for myself I don't need you to be here. I got this JUST LEAVE ME ALONE. I don't need your pity or a pat on the back. These tears can be wiped by my own hand. And don't you dare think I need you. Because I don't. So this was nice. Glad to see you but you can leave now. Because any second more is a waste of time. I've already begun to runaway. You know too much and it scares me. so yeah. My name is Megan. It's nice to have met you. but Goodbye.
