Introspect

Surrounded by those with hearts so true,

She beams and nods her head;

Her face as clean as daybreak,

Her words scarce, subdued.

Yet her heart resounds melodiously

With a tune she alone knows;

Like a lark that sings for its own delight

Without hindrance as it chirps each note.

Still she longs to share this song to the world

And to declare her worth;

She is unaware of the treasure she holds,

But will one day ascend from this void.
