The Introvert
She lays in the darkness contemplating about where time is.
She doesnt mean to rush it but she's just angry.
Shes so quiet, so secluded, so voiceless.
The silence is her sanctuary.
She hears the noises.
On the verge of responding, but she's so voiceless .
Her mouth opens with so much to say.
Unfortunately, only silence escape her lips.
Defeated, she holds her head down.
All she ever wanted was to feel loved.
But she wasn't enough.
All she ever wanted was the attention.
But she was unappealing,
to some.
Now she's sitting on her own.
All her life she's been alone.
All her life she's been carrying a burden, that won't ever come off.
The worst part is that her heart's bleeding, and there's no one to heal it.
She's the introvert.
So loving, caring, and charismatic.
But as she moves, the world becomes stagnant.
She sits in her corner watching the lives of others.
The glacier in her heart restrains her from living hers.
Exasperated with insecurities, she has no choice but to rely on the embodiment of the person in her fantasies.
She's the introvert.
The voiceless introvert that can't seem to attract the attention of others.
In her mind she's eminent.
She wishes she could reinforce the assertiveness that she's imagined.
She's been broken by the negativity that the wind carries.
But she's resilient.
The things that are capable of
breaking her varies.
She's like a diamond in the rough.
Heart full of love to release.
The craving of main attraction.
Emotionally, distraught by life.
But she's modest.
So she'll be alright.
She's me.
