"The Introverted"
Sometimes I feel as if I'm a nobody.
I'm not lonely, but loneliness itself surrounds me.
I'm not quiet, I just don't have the need to talk to everyone.
I'm not ugly, but i don't care enough to try.
I'm not a nerd, I'm just smart enough to get by without studying for hours.
I am an introvert.
Truth is I don't like many people in my school.
I'm not going to vent out my plans when you don't care.
I'm not going to try when you're obviously not worth it.
I'm not trying to fit in, rather just be myself.
I'm not going to go out and socialize when I rather stay home and read.
Because truth is, books are always honest and know how to keep a secret.
Truth is all my anger never gets released, instead I listen to music for a reliever.
It's ironic how you can count on unliving things to be there more than the ones you love.
Or fantasy to be more truly realistic than reality.
I guess the world is just twisted that way.
