Proverbs 4:23

23 Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.

Invest

A blank piece of paper stares at me

begging for some words.

It does not need great fragrance

or ideas out of sight

All it wants is to be used

for words of compassion.

Words that are seldom spoken

but come from deep inside.

You don’t need to be a poet

who feels some special words.

The words need not be fancy

but reflect a man’s heart inside .

Words which soothe and touch

the vibrations of love’s passion

to add to an unfulfilled  heart

the desires which are right.

Much wasted paper

is blowing in the wind.

It looks like trash on highways

or manipulated on cards

Which are given on occasions

with someone else’s words

while you never got to say

the issues in your heart.
