Invisible

Why am I so invisible?

Why can't I have friends like you,

Be friends with you?

How come when I have the words to say

Nothing comes out?

I don't have the courage to talk to you

But when I find a little something

To make myself,

You just leave me hanging.

You just stop

As if you wouldn't dare be caught talking to me.

Am I really such a disgrace?

Did you even bother to hear what I said?

Everyone says I am the nicest person

You could ever meet

But you don't even want to be around me,

Much less talk to me.

I always wonder if you are ever

Thinking of me.

Do you?

Do you ever think of what it would be like

To get to know me?

Or be friends with me?

Or even talk to me?

Do you ever wonder what I am like

On the inside?

What I'm going through?

Do you even care?

Do I even make it into your mind?

Do you ever have anything you want to say to me?

Good or bad?

I just want to talk to you,

Be friends with you,

Be someone

You'll never forget.
