Invisible

Oh how she wished to be seen

She's alwas been in the shadow of someone better

Way too inferior to be noticed

She's never gotten a taste of the limelight

Always in the background, always a supporting role

Inadequate to her peers is how she feels on the daily

Never enough to pay attention to or even look at

All she wants is to be noticed

She wants to escape from the shadow and become known

She wants to feel important

And not so invisible
