Invisible bond
Water, food, air, shelter all things needed for a body to keep living.
But there is more to live than that. More to death than just loosing that.
One day death came to sing her silent song to my little sister.
"Families are forever," I whisper when I miss her.
What does it mean to not be able to live without something?
Families are forever connects me to the dead.
families are forever plays on loop in my head.
I can't live without these invisible ties, or else the fire in my soul would consume me.
"Died of a broken heart" never made sense to me, everything is replaceable you see.
But then my heart broke and I learned what I truly couldn't live without.
Not jewlrey, my clothes, or phone.
The knowledge that I am never alone.
No matter how hard I cry this little sentence is what I need to live.
Families are forever is all I have to give.
I fought to live without my missing piece. I fought to survive and learn what I truly needed in life.
I can't live without families sacred bond, a bond so strong and invisible that death will never make my family part.
I am young but I know what I can't live without.
