Invisible Pain

Tired

Always, Constantly

Never Endingly

Tired

Lying awake

Tossing and turning

Head dropping lower and lower in class

I don’t know what to do, how can I stop this?

Moving in slow motion

Stuck in jello

Trapped in my own body

Only three more steps

have to make it down them

This shouldn’t be this hard!

I don’t know what to do, I don’t know how to make this stop

Burning Hitting me like an icepick,

Constant, never ending

Pain

Advil, PT, therapy

Here try this, try this, no try this

Doctors after doctors

I don’t know what to do, I don’t know how to fix this

Maybe you’re just stressed out

Maybe it’s all in your head

Maybe you just need to get over it

Maybe you don’t know

Just because you can't see it doesn’t mean it isn’t real

How can you judge me? You haven’t been here

I don’t know what to do, I don’t know how to stop this

Angry, so angry

Hating myself

Hating my body

Constant, never ending

PAIN

This is not fair...

I don’t know what to do, I can’t make this stop
