(invisible shelter)

I felt the world today, so cold

And all the other men were meant to stay,

But now I know I cannot fold

Just easily, especially while on display

Things began to get real sad,

Inside the photograph, with little light to show

About how everything is going mad,

No one really left us with a heavy dose

Of a real choice;

To turn you on...

Looked up, cracked my neck,

And began to feel most direct;

Wishing well to keep you in check

And never so hopeful, purely out of respect

Found a few more notes

On how to dream,

And no one really shared

How they really believe;

Oh no,

Don't go

I felt the world today, so old

In time, there comes a man who makes the change

And if he's not to be sold as cold,

He can still make you feel like gold, and now he helps you stay

For a real voice;

To hear your song.
