Iridescent Rhapsodies

Iridescent Rhapsodies

Oh how your candor flows straight from the deepest parts of my being

You are raw, scathed, burnt, bruised, and battered

Yet you shine with the glowing luminescence of empathy

Your parts are derived, crafted, and molded

From places that only the most vulnerable nights may seek

And wandering souls like mine transform under the indefinite impressions you leave

Iridescent Rhapsodies

Your rhymes and rhythms leave indentions in my mind

Your depth drowns my sorrows in the most tranquil symphonies

And the melodies you sing guide my heart as I wander into a deeper disposition

As you slither down my throat, lacing my tounge with grace and agility

Your colors flood the depths of my lungs with the sting of passion

And my chest bows at the weight of the truth in your assonance

Iridescent Rhapsodies

You lead my thoughts to transcendant revelations and you open my eyes to reality

But most of all my iridescent rhapsodies most of all you save me from me
