Iris

A swimming sea of infinite emeralds Lost in the irises, I've grown so familiar An addictive passion I long for Deceiving and mesmerizing, beckoning me in A glance leaves me on my knees The gravitational force pulling me down Farther and farther beneath the surface Engulfed in the affection held toward the green Looking back at me I am lost in the irises.
