Iron Tide

Tide of metal shimmering as morning foam

In and out

Rockets go

With aim to roam

Across all that is known

And paint it

An iron sky

It is fate for that born of stars

To return

And come back

A constant tide

As natural as any of water

Most of my stuff is inspired by some of the very somber anti-war poems written after WW1. Others can be on a whim or based off fictional works.
