Ironically, They Awaken Me.

Essential.

Necessary.

That’s what they are.

Cheap.

Light.

That’s what they are.

You can take them anywhere.

They can take you anywhere.

They hold you together.

But you form them.

They create a sense of hope.

See, I can’t live without em’.

And I would dare to believe that you shouldn’t either.

It’s these very things that make us who we are.

For, if we were to lose them,

We would lose ourselves.

They are what open our eyes wider,

What stirs the joy in our souls.

Yours inspire me.

I would hope mine inspire you.

They aren’t easily contained,

Yet they start small.

They take time to come to life,

But you’ll know when they do.

They begin inside of us,

And soon they manifest.

Tirelessly we pursue them.

I couldn’t live without my dreams.

For, they awaken me daily.

Could you?
