The Irony of Being "Flawless"

Someone once said,

"Life is realizing your inner perfection."

What a lie.

It's no secret that perfection doesn't exist.

Rather,

society makes its own rules,

so individuals can see themselves

in a more positive,

ethereal light.

So someone can feel

Good.

Important.

Valued.

Respected.

Genuine.

Unique.

Beautiful.

FLAWLESS.

Just because else says so.

The ugly truth?

A person isn't flawless.

A person has

Anger.

Jealousy.

Betrayal.

Lies.

Selfishness.

Criticism.

Mistakes.

Imperfection.

Every namely flawed characteristic.

The irony?

People can be flawless.

Being flawless is not being perfect.

A flawless individual is a human being.

Someone with

Free will.

Choice.

Conscience.

Morality.

Potential to do good.

How someone

uses strength to overcome challenges,

learns from their mistakes,

feels sympathy for others in pain,

is compassionate.

Tells someone else that they are

FLAWLESS

when they need to hear it.

The fact that a person can be

Peaceful.

Satisfied.

Loyalty.

Trustworthy.

Altruistic.

Respectful.

Successful.

FLAWLESS.

In the long run,

the beauty

and irony

of

FLAWLESSNESS

stems from

human choices

to strive to be

genuinely good.
