Irrationality: A Teacher
Yesterday you broke a glass and it shattered pieces within
that had long since been proved faulty. I doubt you could see the damage
beyond superficial expressions of startling and screams,
but trust when I state I yearned so greatly to fix it.
I could've spent half an hour to sixty minutes
pondering on the arrangement of cracks disjointed by disappointment.
Please tell me if this feeling is emitted by those other than me, because
in this moment my mind is stolen like a thief went and snatched my will to seek happy, and other things: IRRATIONALITY
It leaves a peculiar taste on the tongue as I flee and run from the disastrous ruin it ruminates.
I tell myself, "Don't create a space jolting from this monstrous creature.
Don't let it be your end all, be all within this place called life for it will take hold of your precious entity known as a body
and fill it with ugliness."
Trust me self, 'cus we've had this conversation before,
running in circles trying not to be a NUT CASE. Patrice, you know crazy better than your own name.
Don't let it be your final teacher, for you have many more to come.
Don't be the reaper of your a life short-lived because your imagination is endless and gifts infinite.
Be the conquerer of what shook you your whole life,
because you have the power to conquer it and become more while owning it.
