Island

                                                         Island

                                            Years and years go by

she is always by my side

time and time agian I try

I will want her on the tide

                                   Lost, lonely, shocked, and suspicious

I hold her hand into the night

                                             by her side i'm fearless

she makes all things feel right

I hear the waves behind her voice

feeling the aura of love inundate you

she helps you with every choice

while her embrace keeps you true

I would never be without her

                                         this woman is my diamond

                                                she is my flower

glad to have her on this island
