An Island it is.

Here we are,

Stranded.

An island at the end of all things.

Here we are,

Together.

You and I together as always, we give each other wings,

Wings for our minds to give way to new ideas and flights of fancy

Wings for our hearts to soar and thrive

Here we are,

Us two

You and I to keep each other sane

Here we are,

Me and you

We know how to survive together, girl scouts even now

There is nothing we can not get through

As long as long as you have me and I have you

Here we are,

Strong.

United in the face of all adversity

Here we are,

Not alone.

Together we are resourceful and wise

Wise enough to hunt and fish and make a home

Here we are,

Together always.

Mom and me.
