An Island of Roses

Thu, 05/23/2013 - 16:44 -- flyys

Cast away upon the island,
Washed up onto the shore,
The message inside the bottle,
The one you threw before.

It started as, “roses are red,
And violets blue,
Nothing is better
Than being with you”

If nothing’s better,
Than being with me
Where’d you go?
Can’t find where you’ll be

‘Cause you’re cast away—
Upon the island…
Washed up onto the shore

Just like the bottle
With the paper
Never to be found anymore.
