I'll look out there near the rock, see the man shaking Shakespeare off his ear. ---- He couldn't remember the name, of the suitor that he punched. --- Visible in the misty snow, he breaks the mailbox. --- The door breathes, that man just opened the pantry. --- A few weeks of solitude in December. Or November. Or October. Or August. --- He burns the Bronte, cooking day old soup. --- I think he looks at me, he said something. --- "Trust Emily you'll say. Leave undetermined love. Be a enigma like Heathcliff. Of course I listen. My name is Wake." --- He sat down, we watched a cartoon.
