Have you ever had those days

Were you feel like your fading away

Maybe need a shove to get a jump start

Feeling so down in the dumps

That you’re walking with a slump

It feels like everything is going wrong

And you’re trying to stay strong

 

We’ve all had those days

Were we are feeling so emotionally low

And don’t know where to go

Because we feel like nobody would understand

Our pain and how we are feeling

So we just chill and stand

Staring at the ceiling

Wondering if there is anything to believe in

 

Well there is something to believe in

And it’s you No lie it’s true

Sigh… I wish you would open your eyes and see

How awesome you are and the world around you

Think about your friends

And how they make you want to shout with joy

Remind you its okay to be loved

Without a doubt that’s awesome

Also to know you can climb above

The hardships and struggles of life.

So you just found out you bombed that test

Cause you didn’t try your best

Had to walk home because you lost your phone

And had no money for the bus

But believe me child there’s no need to fuss

It might not be a beautiful day but at least you’re okay

You got home safely so maybe

You should smile just for awhile

 

It’s awesome to know

That you can learn from your mistakes

That you’re not the only person with struggles

You can bounce back, no matter what it takes

Don’t let your struggles trap you in a bubble

You’re awesome because you loved

You’re awesome because you learn from your mistakes

Whether you like it or not you’re awesome  

So don’t play dead like a possum

And don’t give up on life.

Things will get better and there is always a reason to smile
