Isn't Me

Get over it

The pills

They don't numb it

You get so far

Under

It's like

You're buried

Nothing cures this

This sadness

You're so careless

And it's like madness

Watching you fly

You get high

Off my love

And I sink further

From yours

You can take

Every part of me

You can love me

Harder and harder

Every night

Just close your eyes

Pretend

I don't come and go

When I please

Sing yourself to sleep

Live in this glass cage

At least you're beautiful

And young

And never have to know

You said

Don't worry baby

You kissed my neck

You held tighter

You feel it

Inside of me

Coming alive

You can have me

All you want

For tonight

You can do

Whatever you want to

To me

All night long

But come morning dusk

You and I

WIll be dust

Nothing but photos

On the floor

So don't ask me

To give you more

You know what you were getting into

When you answered that door

Go with it

Move with me

Rock with it

It doesn't have to be

The death of everything sweet

You and I

Can get high

Off each other

No one has to be the wiser

No one has to know

Even when I let go

You never have to cry

Because

You didn't love me

Not really

You loved the girl

You saw

And that girl

Just isn't me
