Isn't She Lovely
Isn’t she lovely,
He mumbles as he kisses my forehead.
Isn’t she wonderful,
He murmurs as his strong arms twirl me around.
Isn’t she precious,
He whispers, as his slightly calloused hands gently hold me.
Isn’t she pretty,
He asks as he elegantly waltz us across the floor.
Truly the angels best,
He speaks as he lifted my weak feet unto his firm ones.
Boy I’m so happy,
He voices as he sways us back and forth.
I can’t believe what God has done
He utters, as he rest his head on top of mine.
Life and love are the same,
He divulges as he picks me up and sits me on the ground.
But isn’t she lovely made from love,
my dad whispers as he playfully dips me.
