ISOLATED
I sit here watching
they come
and go
in groups and in pairs
occasionally they glance at me
but all i do is watch and watch
and watch again
what am wathing out for,
am not certain
am no longer even certain
that am seeing a thing
but all i do is watch
because that's what appears to them
i watch their folly
their silly stupid tempers
their conversations so light
yet presumably so deep
i watch and know their
thoughts and their little going to do's
i sit here on stage watching
they know am watching
and they think am seeing
may be they are right
but am not seeing what they want me to
