Isolation

Water drips from the rocky alcove

A roaring sea forms a cove

Blood pouring from a wound

Vison hazy, unrelenting ringing

Lost child, alone and afraid

Gather his bearings, staring, screaming

Collecting calmness

Walk out to the beach, staring at a dark sky

He falls to the sand, tired and dazed

Time passes, trials overcome

The child grown, feasting upon roasted bird

He reminisces upon simpler times

Loves his family

Loves his friends

The cave wall glitters

Drawings of them in abudance

The boy cries out for the silence to break

For another's touch

Always alone
