Isolation (Just Waiting for You)

Isolation Desperation Perspiration Desolation Devastation Condensation Precipitation Damnation Our nation Lost patience. Determination. Pitter patter Bitter litter On our lips. Sweat Like molasses Descend upwards. Patiently. Can’t wait. Can’t stop. On and on. Flip flop Drip drop Snip snap Zip zap. Zoom boom doom. Move on. Groove on. New words Old memories. Where’s my cat? The shimmery glimmery Yellow fish Died yesterday. But there’s still The gooey blue one. Butterflies High and dry. Good bye. Lie and die. Sigh and shy. Slam bam sham damn. Time to say Farewell To the neighbor And the slick Brown dog. And the shaggy tree. And the jittery squirrel. Where’s my home? Right there, Silly. Oh I see it. But wait, My heart’s blind. Just lost it yesterday With the yellow fish. Need a hearing aid too. But the blood’s still Pumping away. No worries. There’s still tomorrow. Oh dang, there’s still tomorrow We’ll see how that goes. Don’t expect too much, Just waiting for you.
