This Is It
This Is It.
248 Days,
5,952 Hours,
357,120 Minutes,
And 21,427,200 Seconds,
It all comes down to this,
It’s all or nothing for me,
I don’t continue my journey unless
We accomplish this miracle.
I’m counting on them,
We, not me.
Let’s go.
This is it.
We’ve worked
Hard to be here,
Blood, sweat, and tears.
It’s been a bumpy road like
A roller coaster, ups and downs.
We’ve fought, we’ve lost, we’ve won,
It’s time to fight, to win or lose one
Last time. The serve is up.
They get the point.
I need them,
My team.
This Is It.
It goes back and forth, mostly back to them.
We can do this! Only if we want.
It’s hot. I’m doing everything I can.
My everything isn’t enough.
I’d like to say this ends happy.
That’s what we all hope for, isn’t it?
We fight for every point, well, I do.
This has been our struggle.
There’s no want. There’s no determination.
That’s something my team lacks.
We have potential; we have the weapons we need.
Why can’t we win this game against a good team?
Why can’t the Lady Bulldogs win a district Championship?
Why can’t I end my volleyball career on a good note?
We beat teams that no one thought we could.
But we won't beat this team.
We lost our last game of the season, of my last season.
This Is It.
