It

Insignificant, you don't understand

What this is, a boy or a man

What it does, thinks, feels

To you is not real

You can not ponder what it ponders

You can not wander where it wanders

You can not see what it sees

You can not be what it wants to be

To be or not to be

To the end of the earth

Beauty in the ugly

A lover of the unloved

Though still an it

It hopes one day to not be this

To find someone who understands

To finally see itself as a man
