It Beats for You
My heart beats for you
And all the crazy things you do
I remember the first conversation we had
I was really nervous but it wasn’t so bad
From then on we talked every day and night
Never did we argue, never did we fight
Told all my friends one day you’d be mine
And your friends told me you talk about me all the time
Now we’re here and I lie upon your chest
Thinking about us and the rest
Of the time that we can have together
And the wonderful memories we can treasure
Lying here and listening to something so wonderful and true
The sound of your heart beating for me too
